a) either paid too much money for it,
b) you like it (but you don't need it) or
c) you know that there is a use for it in the future, but you don't know what?
I know the feeling. If you are a creative creature like me, you hate throwing stuff away because you know that perhaps you can repurpose it and find a use for it someday. Sometimes something may not have a whole lot of value, but you like the color, the material, the shape, the size...something. The problem is that you end up with a bunch of junk in your closet and you forget about it. Well, if I can help out just a bit...
I stumbled upon some really cool ideas for repurposing. Some of these things I had at home because I simply could not part with them knowing that one day I'd find a use for them....and I was right. The others? Well, I may just have to wait. So let's get started with some of my favorites!
1) The first one. Who doesn't have shoe boxes laying around in their home? Sometimes I just love how they are nice and sturdy...or sometimes I love the designs on them. This idea is great because you can clamp em' all together with some of those paper clamps, and voila...you've got yourself an instant desk makeover. You can also cover the boxes with some cool wrapping paper, wallpaper, shelving paper, contact, whatever your little heart desires. You can get as fancy as you want!

If you didn't like this one, here's another thing you can do with your crib: a craft organizer!

5) Recently I ordered some mini business cards that I absolutely love. The problem is, where the heck to carry them! You'll find tons of blogs teaching you how to create a regular business card holder, but hardly any for the tiny ones. In addition, they are too complicated, and I am a lazy craftser. So what I did was, took the Altoid tin business card idea and used the small Altoid tin, which is perfect for my mini cards. I used washi tape, fabric scraps, and covered the box with both and sprayed some clear acrylic sealer! So all you looking for that perfect mini card holder...here's the answer! Check mine out!
